RECITATION

Currently, the Academy teaches Hafs ‘An ‘Asim Tariq Ash-Shatibiyyah.

Yes, we accept girls from the age of 8 years and above while for boys, we accept from the age of 8-10 years old.
Recitation Course is conducted Live on Skype via Audio Only. The students will recite one by one in front of the class teacher.

Each class has a maximum of 10 students. Duration of each class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long depending on the number of students registered in class.
Every student who completes her Khatm in the Academy will be given a certificate of completion for the Khatm program by the Academy.
No onsite classes are offered.

Yes, however the change of class can only take place at the beginning of a new term.

Yes, the teachers use tajwid terminologies in class starting from Level 4 (Purple) and above.
It is compulsory for students who have reached Level 4 (Purple) and above.

There are 2 options for a student once they reach Level 8 (Black):

1. Khatm Program

2. Probationary Teachers-in Training Program (PTiTP)
Your colour level only will be given by the class teacher after the first week of class.

KHATM

The Khatm Program is to read the Qur’an and maintaining the correct recitation from cover to cover with the guidance of a trained teacher.
Students who have reached the highest level in the Academy which is Mocha/Black colour.
Each class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long depending on the number of students registered in class.
Each class has a maximum of 10 students.

TAJWID

SFS stands for Starting From Scratch, a unique method created for those who do not know the Arabic letters. It is designed to build the foundation of Qur’an recitation, through the recognition and correct pronunciation of Arabic letters.
TME stands for Tajweed Made Easy and it is an advanced tajwid course that has been tailored to make the fundamentals of tajwid easy for a layperson, facilitating the process of perfecting Qur’an recitation.

One should email to studentaffairs@tmeag.com to get her recitation assessed first to check if she is eligible to enroll in this course.
The course intake schedules are updated on our Website page or on social media [Telegram, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter [@tmeaglobal]. To register, please go to https://form.jotform.com/TMEAG_digitalmedia/courses-registration OR email Student Affairs Department at studentaffairs@tmeag.com to submit your request.
The following are options which you can choose from:

i. Inform Student Affairs Department of your preferred days and timing. As soon as there are minimum number of students registering for the same days and times, a course will be opened. (Subject on teachers availbility)

ii. To gather a number of sisters (minimum of 8) who are ready to take the course on your preferred days and timing; and then inform Student Affairs Department. (Subject on teachers availbility)

iii. Lastly, wait for the next intake. Visit our website https://www.tmeag.com/ or follow us on social media [Telegram, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter(@tmeaglobal)] for the updates on course intakes.
For online; the courses are conducted via Zoom. Student Affairs Department will give instructions on how to join and create classes. For onsite; we will announce the location and venue.
For an effective study and a wholesome course experience, students are advised to use a laptop/desktop/tablet to operate Zoom.

We are not able to guarantee the same experience for students who use their mobile phones during the course as there are certain functions that are not user-friendly on mobile phones.
TME Course – 2 hours , twice a week

SFS Course – 1 hour, twice a week
TME/SFS Course has 12 classes and run for 6 weeks in sha Allah
Students can view recording for the respective class which they have missed. The recording will be deleted after 1 month from the date course finished.
Yes. An E-certificate will be emailed bi-annually in June or December.

Note: E-Certificate will be sent to those who successfully attended the course.
No certificates are issued upon the completion of SFS.

The requirements are:

i. Must be a student of the Academy
ii. Recitation strength meets the standard of a highest level in the Academy. (i.e. Black)
iii. Students must attend the Khatm Program for at least one Term (3 months)
iv. Completed Tajweed Made Easy (TME) Course in the Academy
v. Must be able to teach FULL-TIME immediately after passing the Probationary Teachers in-Training Program (PTiTP)
vi. Must understand and speak English fluently
